The Lord of the Rings has been a very significant part of my life for the past 9.5 years, ever since I got The Fellowship Of The Ring for my birthday in November of 2001.
This past September I decided to get J.R.R. Tolkien’s monogram tattooed on my left shoulder blade. I knew I wanted it for a long time, it just took me a while to decide where. I settled on the left shoulder blade because it’s over my heart, in a sense.
I haven’t decided yet if I want to get “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us” added to it somewhere on my back.
This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while. I’m going to do another Tolkein tattoo first though (very very soon)
